Mothers Day

On English mother's day (Sunday 2nd March) I was at my mum's grave to see her and have a chat and when I got there I felt a weird warm feeling like a hug even though it was really cold. Last time I was there I told mum that me and dad would come back on Mothers Day for another chat so I think she came with us and gave me a hug.

What do you guys think?

I dont really know but it could very well be that. its really hard to say where you didnt see anything.

It would make sense, tho her haunting her grave is very weird, seeing as how a haunt is usually based on where the person felt most connected. She might be following you, actually.

Hehe yeah she probably followed me there. Another ghost forum said that she probably just came there because she knew I'd be there that day.

Yeah. Maternal entities seem most in tune with a child. Children are almost always the first to see a lost parent spirit, telling them it's okay, or continuing to tuck them in at night. Spouses are a close second. Ask your father if he has had anything like that happen.

Dad says he's felt weird stuff going on around the house since that happened and so have I. There's no proof it is mum messing about but it could be. Thing is, me and dad were big skeptics before so it was a bit weird for all that stuff to happen. We're alright with it now and it seems to have stopped recently too. The sort of weird stuff I'm on about is like me feeling like something's stroking my hair when I'm alone in the room or a weird guitar noise when nobody's in my bedroom where my guitar is. Mum played keyboard though, but her keyboard's in the attic now. I might have imagined the guitar noise or misheard it because I was listening to mum's favourite song when it happened and there was a strum that was like a normal guitar not plugged in which doesn't happen in the song itself.

She might be moved on, so to say. You visited her grave, and showed her you loved her and cared about her, and that hug could have been a final goodbye.

Maybe. The other ghost forum I was talking about said that when spirits have passed on they can sometimes come back for visits sometimes. I hope she didn't go right after the hug! I sat there for hours telling her stuff so I hope she listened.

Of course. If she knew you were connected to her at that moment, she wouldn't move on right then. She probably tried to comfort you.
